How cute are these chocolate jingle bells?! I made them using Lindt Chocolate Truffles and some edible gold dust. They come together so quickly and easily, making them the perfect festive, delicious addition to your Holiday baking list this year. Feel free to use them as fillers for Holiday charcuterie boards, cookie and cupcake toppers, or whatever else you wish! :) I hope that you enjoy this no-bake Christmas recipe as much as I do!

How To Make Chocolate Jingle Bells

Not only are these Chocolate jingle bells so easy to make, but they’re delicious and come together so fast! Let’s break it down.

  • Prepare your workstation with all the tools you need. Pour the luster dust into a small bowl and unwrap all the chocolate truffles.
  • Work with one truffle at a time. Gently heat a knife so that the metal is warm, then make an “X” on top of the truffle.
  • Using a small piping tip (lightly heated), carefully press under each end of the “X” points. Set each finished chocolate aside.
  • Repeat for each truffle, then swirl them into the gold luster dust. Use a spoon to make sure each chocolate is completely coated.
  • Enjoy your Chocolate Jingle Bells as a festive addition to charcuterie boards, cupcake toppers, or holiday desserts.

Recipe Tips

  • Work slowly: Heating the knife and piping tip just right prevents melting the chocolate.
  • Use a light hand with luster dust: Too much can create clumps — swirling gently ensures an even, sparkling coat.
  • Prep all tools first: This makes the process smoother and keeps your truffles from melting too quickly.

Chocolate Jingle Bell Alternatives

  • Mini truffles: Use smaller chocolates for bite-sized bells.
  • Different chocolate flavors: Try milk chocolate or flavored truffles like caramel or hazelnut.
  • Vegan option: Use dairy-free chocolate truffles.

Chocolate Jingle Bells Decorating Ideas

  • Holiday charcuterie boards: Add sparkle and charm to your board for visual appeal.
  • Cupcake toppers: Place one truffle on top of each frosted cupcake for an elegant, festive touch.
  • Cookie toppers: Use a small dab of icing to attach a Chocolate Jingle Bell to your favorite cookie recipe.
  • Edible gift: Package a set in a clear holiday box for a thoughtful, homemade gift.

How to Store Chocolate Jingle Bells

  • Keep your Chocolate Jingle Bells in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Store in an airtight container to prevent moisture from dulling the luster dust.
  • They can last for 1–2 weeks at room temperature or longer if refrigerated, but bring them to room temperature before serving for best texture.

Ingredients

  • 12 Lindt chocolate truffles (chocolate or dark chocolate, not white chocolate)

  • 2 Tbsp. gold luster dust

Directions

  • Start by preparing your workstation with all of the tools you need. Pour the luster dust into a small bowl. Unwrap all of the chocolate truffles.
  • Working with one truffle at a time, gently torch the knife so that the metal heats up. With the hot knife, make an “X” on top of the truffle.
  • Underneath each “X” use the small piping tip, after heating up just the tip (be careful not to heat the tip up too much or else the entire piece will be too hot to hold). Then carefully press the tip under each end of the “X” points. Set each finished chocolate aside.
  • Repeat these steps for each chocolate. Then, one at a time, swirl the chocolate into the gold luster dust. Use a spoon to help swirl the chocolate truffle around to make sure that it’s coated completely. Repeat for each chocolate.
  • Use these as a festive, delicious addition to a Holiday charcuterie board, a cupcake topper, cookie topper, etc. Enjoy!
