Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp.

  • 3/4 cups confectioner’s sugar

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

  • Prepare a 9″ x 9″ baking pan by spreading room temp butter around the entire bottom and sides. Lay parchment on the bottom and allow some extra parchment to hand over the sides.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. You can do this by hand with a whisk or with an electric mixer on low speed. Mix for about 2-3 minutes or until there are no lumps and the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add in the dry ingredients and mix until the dough looks crumbly. About 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down into the pan using the bottom of a measuring cup.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Let the dough chill in the fridge while the oven preheats.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
  • Let the biscuits sit in the pan for about 10 minutes after coming out of the oven.
  • Slice the biscuits while they’re still in the pan. I purchased copycat Ted Lasso biscuit boxes on amazon here!
  • Enjoy!
