Jingle Bell Sugar Cookies
I recently made Chocolate Jingle Bells, and they made the PERFECT topper for these Jingle Bell Sugar Cookies! The Jingle Bells are made with Lindt chocolate truffles and are so easy to make, and can be used for so many festive recipes this time of year. These Sugar Cookies are made with one of my favorite soft, tender sugar cookie recipes, topped with a light and fluffy vanilla buttercream, and decorated with coconut, sprinkles, chocolate, and of course, the star of the show, chocolate jingle bells! I hope that you enjoy these cookies as much as I do, and of course,I hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday season :)

How To Make Jingle Bell Sugar Cookies
This is one of my new favorite recipes for Christmas time, and the best part, aside from this recipe being so delicious, is that it is so easy to make :) Let’s break this recipe down!
- Preheat your oven and line your cookie sheets — easy start!
- Mix your dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) in one bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until you get a soft cookie dough.
- Scoop into balls, flatten slightly, and pop them in the oven.
- Bake until the edges are just turning golden.
- Press a small indentation in the center of each cookie while warm.
- Let them cool completely before decorating; patience pays off! :)
Vanilla Buttercream
- Beat butter until smooth, then add sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Gradually add a little cream until it’s creamy and spreadable.
- Set aside and get ready to decorate!! My favorite part :)

Decorating Your Christmas Cookies!
- Spread a generous layer of buttercream on each cookie.
- Dip edges in shredded coconut for a snowy look.
- Add a few festive sprinkles.
- Melt some chocolate, pipe a swirl on top, and crown it with a Chocolate Jingle Bell.
- Admire your masterpiece and enjoy!
Christmas Cookie Decorating Tips
- Spread a generous, even layer of buttercream on each cooled cookie.
- While the buttercream is still soft, dip the edges in shredded coconut.
- Melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, then transfer to a piping bag.
- Add festive sprinkles, pipe a swirl of chocolate on top, and place a Chocolate Jingle Bell on each cookie.

How To Store Jingle Bell Cookies
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to a month.

- Prepare your workstation with all the tools you need. Pour the luster dust into a small bowl and unwrap all the chocolate truffles.
- Work with one truffle at a time. Gently heat a knife so that the metal is warm, then make an “X” on top of the truffle.
- Using a small piping tip (lightly heated), carefully press under each end of the “X” points. Set each finished chocolate aside.
- Repeat for each truffle, then swirl them into the gold luster dust. Use a spoon to make sure each chocolate is completely coated.
- Enjoy your Chocolate Jingle Bells as a festive addition to charcuterie boards, cupcake toppers, or holiday desserts.
