Ingredients
2 1/4 cups 2 1/4 flour
1/4 tsp. 1/4 salt
1/4 tsp. 1/4 baking soda
1 cup 1 unsalted butter, metled
1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 light brown sugar
2 2 eggs
3 tsp. 3 vanilla extract
1 cup 1 semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup 1/2 additional chocolate of your choice (I used the chocolate man!)
2 Tbsp. 2 festive sprinkles (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly grease then line a 9″ x 13″ pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
- In a separate, larger bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Continue to whisk until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet and combine using a silicone spatula just until a dough starts to come together.
- Fold in the chocolate and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the dough into the prepared pan and flatten until evenly spread out into the pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on the edges and the center doesn’t jiggle.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the dish.
- Release the blondies from the pan and cut them evenly. I used a circle cookie cutter to cut out as many blondies as possible. You can cut them into squares too!
- Enjoy!
