Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Banana Pops
This is the easiest, most delicious peanut butter, chocolate banana pop recipe! It’s a no-bake recipe, so not only is it perfect for Summer, but it also comes together so easily. All you need are bananas, peanut butter, chocolate, nuts (optional), and some cake pop sticks. I hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as I do! And of course, as always, feel free to add your own personal touches to this recipe by substituting your favorite ingredients, like milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet, pecans instead of hazelnuts, and cookie butter instead of peanut butter! Whatever makes you happiest!

How To Make Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Banana Pops
I love this recipe not only because it combines one of my favoriote flavor combinations of peanut butter and banana but it’s also a no-bake recipe so it comes together with very little effort. My sister and I used to make these when we were little! I just added the cake pop sticks and layering of bananas to make them into adorable little portable snacks on a stick!
- Slice your bananas into about 1/2-inch rounds
- Lay them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for ~30 minutes Insert a cake pop stick into one banana slice
- Pipe or spread peanut butter on top, then stack another banana slice on top Keep layering until you have a small banana “stack” (about 4–5 slices)
- Repeat until you’ve used up your bananas
- Freeze the stacked pops for about an hour until firm
- Melt your chocolate in short intervals, stirring until smooth
- Stir in chopped hazelnuts
- Dip each banana pop into the chocolate, letting excess drip off
- Chill in the fridge for ~15 minutes until the chocolate sets

Recipe Tips
Here are some tips to help you make this delicious banana recipe :)
- Freeze in stages: Don’t skip the freezing steps—it helps everything stay together when dipping
- Use a piping bag for peanut butter: Makes layering easier and less messy
- Work quickly when dipping: Frozen bananas can soften fast
- Line your tray well: Parchment paper prevents sticking and makes cleanup easy
- Chill after dipping: This helps the chocolate set with a nice snap
Ingredient Variations
- Nut butter swaps: Try almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter
- Chocolate options: Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or milk chocolate for extra sweetness
- Toppings: Swap hazelnuts for crushed peanuts, almonds, coconut flakes, or sprinkles
- Add-ins: Sprinkle sea salt on top before the chocolate sets for a sweet-salty combo
- Drizzle finish: Add a white chocolate drizzle for a bakery-style look

What Can I Use Instead of Cake Pop Sticks?
- Wooden skewers (cut in half if too long)
- Popsicle sticks
- Toothpicks (for mini versions)
- Even no stick at all, just make them as stackable banana bites! :)
